This is Darrian my 3 year old on his first day of school. He wouldn't turn around because he wanted me to take a picture of his backpack. I am going to take a picture of his first day on the little bus as soon as his bus service kicks in. He goes to school from 7:30 to 1:30. He gets breakfast and lunch. So far he loves it. He didn't seem to have much of an adjustment problem. I figure it's because he has been in Head Start for the last 7 months. It is a little unusual having no kids in the house all day, but I will get used to it. Today I am making a trip to Walmart alone. That should be interesting. I am used to having at least one kid with me.
we'll see how it goes.

I'd forgotten how much they love their little backpacks. How sweet is that!

And oh yeah, you'll get used to having half a day alone real quick. I promise! LOL

He looks so cute. He must feel very grown up with his big boy backpack.
I think, Christina, you will find that you'll be able to make that adjustment quite easily.

Good for you all alone....enjoy....I'm sure you cant wait for hem to come home so the house will wake up again. Then again being in the house all alone...I would probably take a nap or long bath....either way have a great time and enjoy your peace.

He is too cute! He seems to be very happy about the idea of going to school for part of the day! I'm sure it's b/c it's a different environment!
Enjoy your mornings alone! I'm sure you'll find many ways to fill it.

How cute. He looks proud; what a big boy. And I think you'll find that some peace and quiet really is nice! I wish I had more of that! Enjoy your outing all alone.
