Bedding

I bought some nice white bedding from Pottery Barn and wanted a king sized diamond pattern quilt for the end but the one from them would of been $299.on sale so today when I stopped in Marshalls I came across one for 20 bucks. Woohoo. I think It was just the touch I needed for the end of the bed.

Accidental Heroes: A Novel

I am halfway through this Danielle Steel book and really enjoying it. I enjoy most of her books and this one is no different. I have been blessed here with warm weather and sunshine so a bit of outdoor reading has been great. I also have a new bed with Pottery Barn bedding...so comfy...so reading in there at night has been awesome too. Both moments give me a bit of time to at least read a few more pages. I did just finish The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah which I also enjoyed. If you want a great read with a story based in Alaska and Seattle this is for you.

Oh my facebook

I just deactivated my facebook for many reasons. My hubby is overseas and I just heard confirmation on a news of what he told me. Private messenger was compromised also and peoples messages were being looked at. Not great. Total violation of privacy. If you are on there be careful.

Book Box

Does anyone have a book subscription box they love? I got a gift of The Nocturnal Readers Box and liked it but I do not read a lot of horror. I have a 3 months subscription to Once Upon a Book Club that gives cute little gifts and some pretty good book picks. I was just wondering if anyone else out there belonged to any others.

Tomatoes

I went to Whole Foods this past Saturday and found the cutest little tomato plant you grow in a jar. Apparently you only have to water it once a week and soon enough you will have a bunch of cherry tomatoes to enjoy this summer. Fingers crossed.

Happy Easter

I hope all my friends and family had a wonderful day. It was quiet here just Darrian and I as dad is a contractor in Afghanistan. 75 more days and he will be home. He retired in November after 23 years in the Army. We are still in El Paso for Darrian's freshman year. He loves his school. Still undecided on our final destination. I am missing the grandkids in Oregon so maybe a move to WA eventually. I am reading Accidental Heroes by Danielle Steel. I like it so far but am only 2 chapters in. I did love Kristin Hannah's The Great Alone which I just finished. I really liked her beautiful description of life in Alaska. What is everyone reading? I hope something good.

gadgets and apps
