

More than fifty times in the Psalms the word Towdah or Yadah is translated “praise” which means to extend the hands in praise. The raising of hands is done to express adoration and worship to God, and is also a sign of surrender to His will.

ne Sunday morning, the pastor noticed little Johnny standing in the foyer of the church, looking at a large plaque that hung there.
After the young man of seven had stood there for some time, the pastor walked up beside him and said quietly, "Good morning, son."
