God's promise to Noah

Here in Hawaii not a day goes by that we don't see at least one rainbow, even when it's sunny. Somehow the mist causes the reflection of the rainbow off the mountains. Whenever we see a rainbow I say to the kids "oh look a rainbow, God's promise to Noah." The kids love the fact that there is an actual meaning behind the rainbow. Matthew refers to the story of Noah and the flood. God made his promise to Noah, his sons, and all the birds and animals that came out of the ark. God promised that the earth and everything living on it would never again be destroyed by a flood. The sign that God gives to remind us of his solemn promise is the rainbow. I hope all of your days are filled with rainbows and that you all get to witness the promise God gave to all of us.

Thank you for that, Christina. I wish you a rainbow, too. :-)

OK, here's the question. Did you get your TV reception back yet? You sound pretty sane so maybe you did? I'd die. Really, if I had to miss American Idol, I'd be UPSET!

Aren't rainbows just the most amazing things? :)

I'm glad you get to see them almost everyday.

I'm with Barb, if I had to miss American Idol I would be REALLY upset LOL

A rainbow every day!! I had no idea. That is so neat. I love that it is a reminder of God's promise and of His faithfulness. All of His promises are true. What a wonderful blessing.
How is your hubby doing? Thank you - all of you - for the sacrifice you are making for us. I'm praying for you.

When I share about the Hawaiian Rainbows people always thought I was exaggerating. How could you have rainbows everyday but like you said, it seems we did (I was there for 3 years). I sure miss the ocean at times! Praying for your hubby that all goes well.
