Souvenir's....I think?

We collect shot glasses. My idea of a souvenir is you go somewhere on vacation and you buy a shot glass to add to your collection so you can remember the place you visited and had such a good time at. My husband's idea of souvenir is you go anywhere you can and buy a shot glass just because. So now we are the proud owner's of 2 shiny new shot glasses from, drum roll please, Iraq!!!!!!Tada!!!!!Oh how exciting, don't you think? Well hubby thinks they are cool so I guess their keepers.

Oh my gosh I've been trying to leave comments on your blog for DAYS & it hasn't been working for me! Gah!

Cool shot glasses. I don't think I really "collect" much. I wish I did, though. My mom use to collect match books from places they vacationed. I thought that was sort of cool.

Actually, it is cool that they're from Iraq. And I'm glad he's home, too. You'll have to keep us posted on what's happening next.

I think that's a great idea for a collection - they're nice and small and easy to store :) I also think the one's from Iraq will have a special signifigance for your hubby. So sure....add them to the collection. And thank him again for his service !!

Christina, tell him we are so glad to have him back home in the good old USA! Love the shot glasses they are really pretty. I still have a few things that Kevin brought home from Iraq and I am not sure they are good reminders. They have been in my closet and he hasn't asked about them since his return.

Amazing, and I thought in Iraq they weren't allowed, in their religion, to drink! Oh, but they do sell tourists (our American soldiers) shot glasses. HUMMMM

We have numerous shot glasses both from places we have visited, and from places our oldest grandson has visited...he loves to bring him Papa a shot glass.

I collect thimbles...but no one is allowed to give me any but my baby,
Christian! She gets mad if they do.

Have a beautiful weekend.
