My son Dominic is learning about healthy eating and the food pyramid. I informed him that we use Harvard's pyramid because it is healthy, not the govt.'s. So today he brought this picture to school to tell his teacher that his mom said this is the pyramid we use and this is the one we will continue to use. I told him don't argue with your teacher because she has to teach this to them, but just tell them your mom is a health food fanatic who spends her days browsing Whole Foods.

I have seen the one the government offers and it is scary. However the one my son drew me is even scarier of the foods he eats, or would like to eat. At dinner last night he told me he is alergic to healthy food.
They can learn about eating heathly but how do you get them to acutally do it???
