John 16:33

International Standard Version (©2008)
"I have told you this so that through me you may have peace. In the world you will have trouble, but be courageous-I have overcome the world!"

This is my favorite Bible verse. I have it hanging on my kitchen cabinet so that I never forget it. I look at it every day and know the world will never own me because Jesus is the owner and He has overcome the world, what could be better than knowing this?

Yes, we never seem to forget that we have trouble in this world but we never seem to remember that we have peace with HIM!

Thanks for this reminder! I sure needed to read this today. Need prayer. I found out because of lack of funding my job may not be renewed. I know God has a plan for me ....I just don't know it yet. The board is meeting today at the state capitol...
Pray for our leaders to realize the importance to the children and how this will affect them also pray for me.

Christina,

I'm sorry your going through this difficult time as well. But rest assured I'm praying for you. Isn't it great that we can ask for prayer from others and He knows everything already.

Blessings!
Cheryl

I am so glad He is my overcomer! I don't always feel like one myself. But through Him, I AM more than a conqueror...whether I feel like it or not! :) Thanks for this reminder of who He is! I need to trust in His Word and not my goofy emotions! :)
