Geeze Louise
The other day my daughter had to purchase books for college. My dad bought them for her (thanks dad), and the price for 4 books was a whopping $450. Thank God we got most of them used so it ended up being around $200. Anyway I told my dad your lucky she didn't take piano. She would of went to the book store and they would of said "Oh you need a piano for your homework....$8000." Moral of the story: Learn to play piano when your a kid.

Crazy how much these books cost. We too were blessed with parents who helped in that department.
Books are just crazy for these kids. Thats why they walk away with debt from college which isnt a good lesson learned...sometimes I think our educators are backwards.
The whole "books for college" is a rip off, even the 'used'ones!!!
They make lots of money off these kids!!! I know I have 4 who experienced this!!
We have three that got their degrees from the same college, and my husband swears that we single-handedly built one of their new buildings with the money we paid for our children to attend there!!
We had 3 in college at the same time!!
