Sunday

I had to post this today since this group, The Katinas, will be performing at our church on Sunday. I can't wait, I am totally pumped. They will sing in English and in Samoan for us so this will be a real treat. They have been to our church before and I am so grateful that they are coming again. What a God given talent they have and I am so happy that they will be sharing it with us on Sunday.

I LOVE them!!! And I'm a little jealous, in a godly way of course, that you get to worship with them Sunday!!!! That is so awesome.

Hey Christina,

I have one CD of the Katinas from several years back. I'll have to listen to it again.

Thanks for sharing. Thank you so much for your comment. I had started to post this devotion a week or so ago. Last night I just didn't have any words after I had chosen this song! Got to looking back and had this "draft." I guess it was meant to be put with this song!

I forgot to answer you the other day when you asked about Joyce. She started chemo and radiation both this week. I think she has chemo (drip) every Monday and not sure about the radiation, but probably as it normally is. The chemo made her feel very lousy, but the radiation should start to shrink things.

Her MRI of the brain was clear. PTL. Her PET scan showed a very small spot on her back, so she will also have a bone scan and a spot on her kidney. DX: Small cell squamous lung cancer, Stage 3B.

I was delighted to hear it wasn't worse since it was already there in December. She has been somewhat difficult/not nice to her girls and husband. She's afraid of dying. She had such a rough time when they did the biopsy.

I think God is talking to her. So, he needs to keep on. I saw all 3 of her daughters yesterday and they are holding up well. Joyce lives about 3 hours from her girls. Everyone is back here (Oklahoma) which is probably good to get back to living as normally as they can. (You know exactly what I'm talking about).

Thanks so much!

Praying for you and your family!

Love,
Cheryl
