Something I read in a magazine

A generic form of evangelicalism is emerging as the normative form of non-Catholic Christianity in the United States.
Mark Silk,
Director of public values program at Trinity college. The number of Americans identifying as "non-denominational Christians" has increased from less than 200,000 in 1990 to over 8 million today.
Amen.

I told a lady at my church(Baptist) that I was not a Baptist and she asked what was I? I told her I was a Christian. Why are there so many labels?
