This was supposed to be easy
Everyone knows that the Crockpot can save you a lot of time in the kitchen. The other day I decided to make a quick recipe because I had a lot of errands. The recipe was called sweet and sour beef and it called for 2 Cups of pearl onions. I have never used pearl onions before. When I opened the package I realized there were about 100 little onions that I have to peel. So much for easy. I started to peal them and soon realized pearl onions don't peel easily. It takes some effort to get the thin skin off the little buggers. This took me about 1/2 an hour. Next time I want to save time in the kitchen, I will make sure the recipe does not call for pearl onions.

Yuck. That's no time saver. I think you can buy pearl onions in a jar. Seems like I've seen something like that. Poor you. How frustrating.
It never fails does it? I think there is some rule about not letting you get things done quickly and easily when you need to :-)
LOL! Darn.
