Going to go here tonight for a chili dog. I have not been to a Sonic since 1996. I have not lived anywhere near one since then. I was so excited to find out we had Sonic here. I guess that's Army life...even a Sonic can excite you....when you haven't been to one in 15 years !!!!!!!

I know what you mean!! Crazy how restaurants/fast food places become such a fixture in our military lives. We loved finding On The Border in Illinois, then sad when there wasn't one in Virginia. Happy now that there is one in Rhode Island. We really miss Chick-fil-A (Sophia was thrilled to find it at the Philadelphia International Airport) and there is only one Cracker Barrel in the entire state.
I've always been thankful that our Army life introduced us to Sonic. I love the grilled cheese there.
I had never been to Sonic before we moved and now, I just love 'em. Happy eating!
I've never been to a Sonic - there are none near here!
About my picture today - It was in a field near me. I never thought about the fact that people wouldn't know what it was. I grew up seeing these! Anyway - it's used to gather wheat at harvest time. There is a crank at the bottom that opens a chute and allows it to empty quickly.
