I thought I would share these pictures with you all of Honolulu at dusk. My daughter is on the
paddling team and when I go to pick her up this is the view I get to see. I don't mind picking her up at all. This is very relaxing.

Here is one of their canoes coming in as we sit on the hillside enjoying the paddlers. Isn't it strange that it looks just like summer here. Not a hint of winter. How weird it must be to everyone.

I don't like the cold or the snow but it would really be strange to live some place that never gets snow.
That does look so relaxing. How strange that it's almost Christmas and it looks like summer. Very cool though. I loved Hawaii when we were there on vacation. I want to go back. Maybe someday.
Oh it is beautiful Christina. I hope to see it in person one of these days. I would take that over snow any day. We lived up north until we moved here to Texas 24 years ago, and I don't miss the snow one little bit.
Thanks for sharing your glorious view!!
It looks so tropical. And I guess that can seem a little strange at Christmas time, but it seems to work for Jimmy Buffet! How lucky you are to live around such beauty.
We saw on the news last night that eastern Colorado is going to get hit with a major winter storm today. I want snow out here on the western side, but not the kind they're going to get. I imagine there are a lot of people over on that side of the mountains who would be very, very envious of your location. :-)
