About 2 weeks ago I said I was going to start my own thingy called Manic Monday. I was going to write something weird, strange, unusual, or just manic about me, or the cat, or whoever. Today I am going to write about my husband Dominic because tomorrow is his birthday and because he is out in the field and probably won't get to read this until next month. Here goes. 3 manic things about Dominic:
1. He is obsessed with his guitar. Just like everyone else here he has an obsession. With him it's the guitar. He only started playing about 2 years ago, and he is pretty good, but I think he secretly thinks he will become the next Randy Rhodes or something.
2. He can remember all kinds of technical stuff, but like I said before, he can't remember anything that takes common sense. Like where he puts his beret. In the Army you have to wear this, so losing it is not an option. I always ask him if he wants me to staple his head on so he doesn't lose that!
3. He is very obsessive like me. I suspect ADHD, so we are definitely kindred spirits, but he over does everything. If you buy him cupcakes, he eats the whole box. If you buy him oatmeal, he eats the whole box, If you buy him peanut butter, he eats the whole jar. You get what I mean I'm sure.
Those are the 3 things I came up with for today, but given more time I will come up with more. He is a great guy and I wouldn't trade him for the world, but he has quirks like everyone else. Some quirks I love and others drive me crazy. What really drives me nuts is his sons seem to have many of the same quirks. I think its DNA.

Sounds like he's a keeper despite a few little oddities. I personally think it's the oddities that keep us interesting ;)
Happy Birthday to Hubbie tomorrow!
Happy birthday to your hubby! My hubby loses things, too! He'll ask me where something is when it's right in front of his face!!
Happy Happy Birthday to your dear husband.
They all have their little quirks don't they? And the bonus is that we get to raise kids with the same ones!
