teenage boys...kid on the left in Cowboys t shirt
My son Brandon, the kid in the cowboys shirt, came into the living room last night and said "mom, smell my hair, I really like the smell of that vanilla shampoo you got." I smell his hair, and I agree it does smell nice. Then I say "Brandon that's not shampoo, that's body wash." Once again "the look," this one says "I have no idea what you just said." I repeated that it was body wash not shampoo. He just shrugged his shoulders and went his merry way. I'm sure tomorrow he will once again use the vanilla body wash as shampoo.

I think that is also just men/boys in general. They just don't really care. I think if it's in a bottle and it lathers they'll use it!
I have two sons - all grown up now -and I miss that boy stuff. I think boys are just the best - not real complicated. What you see is what you get. My daughter on the other hand - so much more complicated. I love her to pieces, but I do end up scratching my head sometimes.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate your thoughts on prayer. I find the more I think I know about the deeper mysteries - the less I really do. I am learning that what I need to do is simply believe He is who He says He is and trust - He is so trustworthy.
My girls have so little hair I don't even bother with shampoo for them... BAD Julie ;)
Cheers!

Whatever works! Hey at least he's even bothering to wash his hair! Just be thankful for that! LOL!
That's a boy for ya, huh? Gotta love 'em!
LOL that is too funny :) I think that if it makes bubbles in any way or lathers, then they'll use it as shampoo, it don't matter, and hey, it smelled good :) LOL
My son did this a couple weeks ago... I got the same blank look when I told him it was body wash. I was glad he had even attempted to get his hair clean... :-) Too funny!
Mom said.... Its not too bad when a teenager mistakes body wash for shampoo. What about when your own mother washes her hair with body wash. I guess I had a senior moment?
